Maria is a professional violinist and artistic director of the group Rebaroque. She is also head of music at the Drottningholm Court Theatre. Her expertise lies in creating concert programmes and providing musical leadership for dramatic pieces with a mixture of music styles. For 22 years, she has created her own performances and concerts built on folk-music’s heritage. Her performances have also raised awareness of important topics, such as exclusion.
Maria Lindal, violinist and conductor, is employed to share her experience of many years of working in orchestras both internationally and in Sweden. She does masterclasses based on musical rhetoric for pre-college and universities which specialise in diversity of musical styles. She also holds workshops on thoughts about music from the past and the present.
